This website provides general information on a class action settlement that affects
the rights of all persons who purchased propane gas from someone other than BP or
any Producer in April, 2003 and/or during the period between February 1, 2004 and
March 31, 2004.

to the left for important information including information about your rights, definitions
of certain Settlement terms, eligibility criteria, a description of the proposed
Settlement and the manner in which the Net Settlement Fund will be distributed if
the Settlement is granted final approval by the Court.
This settlement has been reached with the BP Defendants (“BP”) in a class action
lawsuit alleging that the Defendants manipulated the TET propane market during April
2003 and again between February 1, 2004 and March 31, 2004, thereby violating antitrust
and state consumer protection laws. TET propane is propane transported in the Texas
Eastern Products Pipeline Company (“TEPPCO”) pipeline system, which is the primary
source for propane used in residential, commercial and agricultural heating in the
northeastern United States. TEPPCO is the largest single storage facility for physical
propane in the world. Manipulation of the propane market caused inflated pricing
not only for TET propane but for other non-TET propane as well. As a result, people
who purchased propane between February 1, 2004 and March 31, 2004 paid higher prices
for propane than they would have if the market had not been manipulated. BP has
agreed to a cash settlement of $15,250,000.

A hearing will be held on February 10, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at the Everett
McKinley Dirksen Building, 219 South Dearborn Street, Courtroom 2503, Chicago, Illinois,
60604 to determine the adequacy of the proposed settlement with BP and related matters
described in the Notice, Plan of Allocation and Proof of Claim.
If you are a Settlement Class member, and would like to be considered for payment
if the Court approves the Settlement, you must submit a properly completed Proof
of Claim. You can file a claim online (see link on the left) or you can submit the
Proof of Claim via the United States Postal Service. All claims must be received
by the Administrator by April 15, 2010. If you choose to mail your Proof
of Claim, please use the address listed above.
Settlement Class members also have the right to file an objection to the Settlement.
To object to the Settlement either in writing or at the hearing, you must file a
written objection as described in the Notice to be received by the court
and counsel no later than January 11, 2010.
Settlement Class Members also have the right to exclude themselves from the Class.
If you choose to exclude yourself from the Class, you must mail a written exclusion
containing specific information as described in the Notice to the Administrator.
The Request for Exclusion must be received by the Administrator by January
11, 2010.
